5 out of 5 stars xbox wireless adapter   September 7, 2010
Kristina Gutierrez
I bought this for my son's birthday. It arrived before the date, he said it was very easy to install (I didn't need to help at all) and he has been using it ever since.

4 out of 5 stars Quality item, great price, superb shipping   September 6, 2010

I bought this wireless adapter from Starving Student Media and was thrilled when I received it, and while I should have paid attention to the A/B/G vs A/B/G/N difference, I was lucky and it didn't matter for me. I got the right version.
On ordering it, Starving Student Media emailed me a day later saying that it had been put into the system and would be on it's way to me. Two days later I was connecting it to my Xbox 360. So far, I've not had a single problem with the item either.

In short, Starving Student Media gave me a great item at a great price and had it to me before I had time to worry about where it might be. I will definitely shop with them again.

2 out of 5 stars This one sucks, the white one actually works better in house!   September 4, 2010

I bought this one thinking it would pick up on a better signal than the wireless adapter G(white) but it ended up being worse, with the G I get 4 out of 5 bars and with the N(black) I only get 1 bar and for like 5 minutes it will be 5 bars, but then it just goes away! Confusing, maybe there is some trick to it, but I'd rather just plug in my G adapter and go.

3 out of 5 stars it works but expensive   September 2, 2010

i wish microsoft sells this cheaper than other adapters in the market or could have built it in the console like the PS3 so i do not have to spend money on an item that i definitely need. it is like buying a car with a radio but without an antenna. it works though, at least.

5 out of 5 stars Good Investment   September 2, 2010

For the price, it beats the new black adapters for 100 bucks anyday. This has yet to let me down, picks up signal from people across the street and throughout my apartment building. This is a must for having xbox live.
